Are the playoffs out of reach?

The Ottawa Senators are currently 7 points back from the Detroit Red Wings, The Red Wings have one game in hand. Currently the Senators have a rock bottom 0.4% chance of making the playoffs. With the way the Senators have played since December, they're lucky to even have a "chance". You're probably thinking right now: "Let's tank!" Well it isn't as easy as you think, the teams below us are currently the Montreal Canadiens and the Columbus Blue Jackets. They don't know how to stop losing, and since we're a mediocre team we're stuck, It really does suck to be in this situation. Just enjoy the games now because we aren't making the playoffs. So let's hope we have a strong finish for the fans and a great draft and offseason.
